Started 3 months, 1 week ago by jeemo

That's not abug, that's the bookmark file; why do you want to delete it? There have always been several bookmark files in your profile. They're dated on consecutive days, and the older one drops out. If you want your bookmarks saved as the old-style HTML file, click Bookmarks>Import and Backup> Export as HTML. You'll have 2 in HTML, but the there will always be 5 in .json format.

Windows irritating Error Reporting can be turned off in Services. i don't think they're looking at your errors any more after 8 years of XP.

If I try to edit the file name or delete it, it immediately sends xp into a reboot after which all of Microsoft's messages start showing up advising it has recovered from a serious situation and send Microsoft the details. What are you using to edit the file? That's what's causing Windows to crash, not Firefox.

Finally back online. The problem wasn't a Firefox problem as I initially thought. It started to happen on all sorts of things. My Hard Drive had taken a dive. New one now installed and all appears to be OK. Thanks everyone.
