Thread: Firefox Add-ons: You use?

Started 1 year, 4 months ago by Preacher
Was curious to see what add ons are the most popular amongst everyone and if anything new has come along thats made life easier for you. InFormEnter is a lifesaver for me. The SA dictionary was another. My spelling is terrible for someone who reads so much. Web of trust has also been a nice little addition

FireFox feels naked without these: Firebug Web Developer Toolbar dotCOMplete (Use SHIFT-ENTER to automatically add www. and .co.za when entering a new address) And for fun: InstantAction Game Launcher Piclens

PicLense. This is a brilliant add-on. Love it to bits! And FoxyTunes. But that hasn't been working for a while now. Dunno why

no-script is still one of my favourites, in many cases it already blocks javascript adds and most annoying loops ect for pages like lemonparty if you dont know what it is this plugin blocks things in the most useful way.

Foxmarks <- Absolute life saver. Create profiles to seperate work from home bookmarks. Just brilliant. IE Tabs - Switches rendering engine. Very handy when checking sites that require MS certificates i.e OWA (You could accept an exception for this, but the light versions are utter ***) Selenium IDE - Automation test tool (Free and it works). Similar to iMacros, and exceptionally handy.

Digging up this thread cos Firefox's nifty new Collections feature, which allows you to publish all your favourite add-ons into a collection to share with others, or to synch across multiple computers. I absolutely love it. You can grab or take a peak at my own collection from the link in my sig.
