I'd imaging Fiorinal is available of the counter. A quick Google search of Australian pages revealed a few sites that allow you to purchase online.

I dunno bout that, it contains butalbital which is a barbiturate and highly addicitve plus dangerous. They are generally RXed only...

^^ I noticed thats what Wikipedia said. Google search of Aus sites has quite a few..but they list the ingredients as * Paracetamol 500mg * Codeine Phosphate 8mg * Doxylamine succinate 5mg ???

MIMs says the same; Paracetamol 500 mg, codeine phosphate 8 mg, doxylamine succinate 5 mg. I can't see any reason why this shouldn't be available OTC in AUs

^^^ Please, call me Dan.. It appears what is marketed here under the Fiorinal name is different to the formulation of the same name in the States.

to the op: Perhaps you should go for dolased, it has the same active ingridients, but i believe the codeine content is 10mg instead of 8mg. i didnt bother to check mims on that, im just quoting a pack i saw at a friends place a few weeks ago. someone correct me if im wrong

Thanks for your help, all. It's something I'm interested in trying, but I don't want to go and make an arse of myself asking about it if it's not OTC...Awkward, lol.
