Thread: Financial service rep @ TD Canada Trust

Started 2 months ago by 403Gemini
Just stopped by my bank today and tried to make an appointment with a guy I've been going to for the last few years regarding all of my banking needs and I found out he's no longer with TD Canada Trust anymore!! I figure Beyond is big enough, perhaps somebody might know him and know where he went. Does ...

You should ask the bank first if he simply is working for another branch as that happens all the time. He'd be way more likely to be working in a different position at a different branch as that is the only real way of advancement through TD canada trust.

I usually don't bother as turn over in that business is very high. And who the hell want to deal with customers for their entire career unless their job is commission based (investment and mortgages). Just DIY where you can and anyone from the bank can do the same job. It's really hard to have a human relationship with banks now ...

You'd be an idiot to think the employees in banks aren't highly specialized in their positions. To say it isn't important to have a human connection with a bank is absolutely retarded as 99% of the time these people are way more knowledgeable than you are as they are trained specifically for the job they are doing. Wouldn't you ...

That would all depend whether you really care about your clients or whether they just care about money. If your product is good enough it shouldn't make a difference one way or the other.

Like I mentioned I dont want Peter to have a Google stamp , even though it's a positive review, some people just don't like being able to be googled and I want to respect that

People that complain about service fees often are the ones that don't see the big picture. TD Canada Trust has made me well over $100,000 this year alone so who the hell cares about the $200 a year I pay in fees.

I used Peter to. He was awesome. let me know if you find out where he went. He was straight up and was always willing to go the extra step. I would switch banks if I found out where he went.

If it was easy, I'd end all my dealings with TD. They are all about raising services fees and interest rates and think it's ok once they send you a notice letter in the mail. Funny how you went in to make an appointment, when I've recently seen commercials advertising "no appointment necessary."
