I know you guys love to comment on the relatively poor boxing skills currently being displayed in MMA, but I was curious to get the consensus on Fedor's Sambo-style "Casting punch"
The Fight Nerd | How to throw the Fedor Punch AKA Sambo’s “casting” punch
Do you think somebody who employs this type of unorthodox striking technique would still fare well in MMA 15-20 years down the line when...

At that point of their careers Dempsey would have knocked out Johnson. In their primes? I think it would have been a long battle but in the end Dempsey would perhaps come out victorious.
I think a prime James J Jeffries would have been interesting to see against Johnson or Dempsey

Marquez him self said the talking will be done inside the ring. Its his job to prove to all the doubters that he can do it. If he pulls it off he can nut-hugging and praising in the world. Til then he's the underdog and thats that. If he pullsit off? Great. Unbelievable.
But til then the logical choice by looking at the match up is Floyd

In his last fight he was as dominant as hes ever been. The punch stats showed the largest gap in...
The fight with Angulo wouldn't even be competitive. You're talking about a methodical pressure fighter who eats hooks for a living. Da Sex's left cross would put his lights out. After the Paul Williams fight, this fight would be a cake walk. A fucking cake walk...
Kirk Johnson is Canadian. I was hoping he would amount to something but he just kept getting fatter and fatter. The shape he came in to fight Vitali, I was surprised he didn't have a heart attack on the way to the ring. I think V Klit crushed him in 2 rounds if I recall. too bad too, because Johnson might have been a real contender if he had of trained and ate properly.

I don't know why there is a rematch either. The first fight was entertaining.... but Pascal won it clearly (in my opinion). I'm hoping Pascal wins again because I'd really like to see him v Cloud or Yusaf Mack. Either of those fights would be a great fight.

He doesn't even look menacing, which is usually a draw for...
I dont see Khan beating any of those 3 fighters Juan Diaz would be The toughest of the 3 then Ortiz if he can get his head straight and I know a lot of people wont agree with me but Maidana would be the easiest fight(dosent mean it will be easy though)
