I was told it was something to do with the oils being thinner now If you're using a lighter weight oil than recommended you would expect to see more usage but oil in general is still oil. It's nothing to do ...

thanks I have seen a couple of reports here about '09's burning oil but certainly _far_ less than the '08's.

PCIII Accelerator Pump Feature? Is it worth activating the accelerator pump feature on my PCIII.? Did you notice any substantial difference in smoothness or throttle response?
If it did work good, what settings did you use?

Re: PCIII Accelerator Pump Feature? it is, its not a HUGE difference but it does smooth on/off throttle... i used 20 sens-15 revs-15% fuel ... i have played with it adjusting and these are my favorite.. i especially didnt like high sens. AND ITS FREE!!

There was also a slight whiff of burning plastic, but I suspect (or hope) ...

All this being written, and realizing thats allot to go through just to find out that your battery will not destroied by to much charging; It is recommended that you buy a proper trickle charger, that has the ability to determine when your battery is fully charged, and does not continue with amperage and only holds voltage, when the battery only needs a maintaneing voltage feed.
