Fakkares at CVS Drugstore I was in my local CVS Drug store this afternoon. CVS is a chain, I know it's here in Michigan, and their store finder on their web site has all the states listed in the search. Anyway, I spotted some nice looking fakkares there. The brand was Karina, and they were on their own spinner rack in the beauty aisle. They looked just like a Maximas ...

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore Awww... what a good dog mommy you are! ~~~~~ We don't have CVS around here, but I googled them and they're also available at Ulta , too, for anyone who doesn't have CVS.

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore Wow, thank you for pointing this out. This is a great thing for people (like me!) who aren't ready to take the plunge for a real one but are curious to see how it holds. It works amazingly well. They only had the $8 kind, the large size according to PatGear, and it's the perfect size. I did buy the one that was squished a little flatter ...

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore I bought a silver one of these a while back and it does not hold my hair at ALL. It just slides right out. I think mine is a large. It is a shiny silver color. Ficcares hold me hair very well. I assumed it was the lack of teeth that made the fake one not hold. I am glad it works for some of you!

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore Thanks to this thread I stopped by Ulta on the way to the gym and now I'm the proud new owner of this fakkare and a few other hair toys. I've never tried a Ficcare, but this cheapie is holding my hair fantastically; I even wore it while I exercised at the gym without it budging. The large one is the perfect size for my hair right now. ...

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore I thought my wallet was ok when I started reading this; I've never heard of a CVS. But noooo, you can get them at Ulta too, and I live by one of those stores! I know where I'm going shopping tomorrow...

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore Ooo, that is a really pretty one! Alas, when I checked this afternoon at the one and only CVS in my two-taxi town, none . . . not even one item from that manufacturer. But I'll keep looking around - and like the others, thank you for the "heads up"!

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore I love CVS! We have them all over the place here, and I like them way better than Walgreens. Thanks for this post! I'm haven't bought a Ficcare and probably never will (I just can't get my head around paying $50 for a HAIR CLIP), so I love hearing about where to get cheap hairtoys.

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore I've had one of these for half a year. I bought it in Eckerd. It holds my hair well. I'd guess they are the equvalent of a medium maximus ficarre is size (its smaller than my large ficcarissimo) but have no teeth at all. The gold covering peeled on my soon after I got it. It turned kind of greenish in spots it peeled. The brown part is ok and ...

Re: Fakkares at CVS Drugstore If I'm not mistaken, Eckerd got bought out by CVS so it makes sense that you would find it there. I just bought a second one! I lose things so often and this works so well (as well as claw clips and less lumpy) that it seemed worth the investment.
