PM'd you info on the training -- I didn't want to spam the board. OMB Express has Winchester Ranger low recoil 00 buck and slugs at a reasonable price, especially when they're running a free shipping special.

I've got an FN SLP as well. I have the version with the ghost peep on top. Comes with two gas pistons. The red one is medium, the black is heavy. Since I bought it to shoot buckshot, I normally keep the black in it. If you put the red in it for some lighter practice, you will still need high brass loads to cycle it reliably. Cheap low brass one ounce loads will result in incomplete ejection on...
The FN does come with a barrel that uses choke tubes. Winchoke variety. If I remember right, one in the barrel and two in a bag. And a choke tube wrench. I have the most open variety installed in my shotgun. Gregg
Quote: But isn't the police stuff non-lethal? Are you being tongue in cheek? If so, use an emoticon or something! That 12 pellet 00 Buck load is about as far from "non-lethal" as you can get. I've killed animals up close and personal with it and it is truly devastating. Gregg

I don't remember what came installed. For buckshot, you want the "heavy" one. That's black. Kind of look through the holes. One is black inside and the other is red. Gregg

Isn't that an "extended" mag for Kommiefornia? 10 days! And it isn't a long gun, it's a shotgun ferchistssake! I didn't think they even ran yellow forms on those till my wife picked up a Mossy pistol grip a gunshow or two ago.
