Thread: FLASH - GM to sell most of its Isuzu Motors stake

i thought the isuzu partnership had already been almost liquidated? i thought back in 2000 or so, when they were developing the duramax, it was around 49% or something... after it was completeled i thought they sold a lot and got it down to 10-20%... they are going to continue to sell the remaining? what does isuzu motors accually have thats of value? the shares should be useless... -------------------- 94 Pontiac Firebird Formula & 02...

Thank the Auto gods! No more Isuzu-GM partnership.. hopefully. The Colorado/Canyon twins, although decent trucks.. weren't enough to compete with the competition. Most of the problems with the vehicle including bad interior and small engines are a result of GM giving too much control of the trucks to the Isuzu engineers and designers. The result.. a vehicle that didn't stand a chance against the competition. Hopefully, the next...
