I honestly don't remmeber if I got Oregon when the show was on, but I'll give myself credit since I knew it instantly now. I need all the help I can get with Mark's bonus questions.
Had no clue on M or W; M was an instaclam that seemed obvious after the fact, and W really seemed obscure because I darn sure wasn't expecting a fictional character. Other 3 were easy-peasy.
Also blanked on Rhode Island for the "land" category, and as I mentioned, I had never heard of Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" before.
I was the one who requested the "land" clue as I was curious to see who else would miss RI like me (although I know poll results won't necessarily reflect that particular fact). Am pleased that it doesn't have a high get rate so far.
Kind of sad I missed the "Our Town" clue, though. I'm with the other boardies that "Our Town" is required J! knowledge, but it wasn't coming...
Yeah, there's no words to describe how embarrassed I am to miss two geography questions like that. I hate race-through-long-lists-of-c-r-a-p FJs and I duly missed this one. I started at California and literally made a complete circle around Utah.
And had never heard of Our Town. We had a lame drama team.

Maybe you are a teenager at heart!
There are misses like my Friday's where you feel like killing yourself after the reveal but on Wednesday, over familiarity with Holmes hurt me. In my teen years,...

Monday, I was blank at the beginning, my dad said James Garfield, I told him the date was too early for that, then he said Alexander Hamilton and I knew he was right. That was a team effort, but I won't credit myself since I credited myself last week when my dad stepped on any possibility of my figuring out Io. Got Maryland right away, was looking for another ____land neologism that didn't exist.
