The FCC’s "Special Counsel for Amateur Radio" slot has gone unfilled for 6 months thus she has a backlog of work ahead of her. Fortunately she is up to the task. Laura is a seasoned FCC veteran with a broad ...

The only way to stop the ten meter incursion thing is to ban cb radios. Than change the freq's that they run on make it fm and presto no more cb problems. Give us freq's like 60 mhz or some other weird freq so no commercial amps exist. so what do you think?? If not than the problems will be here forever.Live with it. I am not talking about GMRS.

Why because they are not in and to themself ILLEGAL....

The problem will never be solved by MURS or a kinda ham like service called GMRS. Gmrs is too restrictive and the service is polluted by low power family radio type cheap imported hand helds Their are many ways to stop this incursion into the ham bands. But with the total amount of export type radios being imported the supply is vast and the total user base is shrinking. So give them another way ...

Do not blame Johnson blame the all mighty FCC they approved the change of 11 ham band to the cb band. NOT E.F.Johnson. again as I said before follow the money. Wonder who made money on that change??...
