Anything black sabbath. Talk about an incredibly genre changing/creating group. Sabbath has one of the best drum/bass duos of all time.

Steely Dan. It requires some serious listening time to warm up to this progressive band, but its some high quality, precise music that really hits the spot if you are in the mood. Very rewarding music.

T. Rudy: I especially like Peg and Aja and I agree you have to be in the mood to truly enjoy it. I guess that goes for any genre of music, my taste is quite eclectic. To prove that point here is a list of some more of my favorites from the 70's. Let me know if any of them bring back fond memories of the past as they certainly should. 1. Beginnings-Chicago 2. Saturday in the Park-Chicago 3...

Not to be picky, but............. "Everything That Touches You" by The Association was in 1968. "How Can I Be Sure" by The Rascals was in 1967. "Really Wanna Know You" by Gary Wright was in 1981.

A.P.Walker replied 1 year, 2 months ago
Thanks, I welcome corrections cheerfully. I will delete them. They were on the 70's list on Itunes.

cw............... "Turn Around and Love You" was Rita Coolidge's first chart single. It hit #96 & only stayed on the chart for one week in May of 1969. It was on a label I'm not familiar with called Pepper.

Hi JNM, I'm at work but you all are just too alluring today, everyday really. I love Christmas music too, I could listen to it all year round. I need to go thru mine, I have a few obscure, of course. Off the top of my head though Barbara Streisand put out one recently, mabe a year or two ago that is beautiful. Christmas Memories *ADDENDUM: I checked, this album came out in *2001*, time is flying!

I never knew about Keith Richards' cover of "Run Rudolph Run". Of the two covers I have, I prefer Dave Edmunds over Bryan Adams.
