Now since this is taking off, you you think we'l get some huge 3 monitor hybrid along any time soon . I don't want to resort to disassembling monitors to remove the bezels

I think samsung(?) are working on bezel-less monitors for use with eyefinity. No doubt they'll cost a few though..

To be fair bezels arent that much of a problem, have you tried a 3 monitor setup? You dont even concentrate at the sides tbh.

I'm not really sure there's a point to this. Whats wrong with just having one widescreen monitor? I use two, but only one for gaming. Lets me use the other one for instant messaging and stuff. Even got a server PC attached to that one, and a source change button to switch between pc's. Even if i Had one of those cards, I don't think i'd use it.

ahh now thats 4 monitors which eyefinity does not support - its 4 screens you can see the light bleed

I have 2 22" 1920x1080's, and I can say I hate it playing FPS's, I'd rather have 3 of them, two is annoying as my crosshair renders down the middle.

With 3 screens, bezels aren't a problem though.. With 2 screens you want to die.

Was out lyin gin the sun before and thought of a good analogy to describe / stop the 'just get a big bad as HD screen, its the same' argument. For this you will need a friend, a large cardboard box (house moving size) and a trip to Beachy Head. Sit on the floor and get your friend to put the box over your head. For this you are not allowed to move your head or eyes. Get your oppo to cut a 16:10 hole in the front and look through it....
