  Explorer has been crashing when more than 2 tabs are opened. I have started to get script security warnings on safe pages. I have to run explorer as a process to recover the desktop and start menu. IE8 keep running as if nothing is wrong. I have the following in application event viewer.   Hi, > Faulting application mptsvr.exe Mptsvr.exe appears to belong to ACD mPower Tools. A quick search suggests that mPower tools was last updated in 2006. It may not be compatible with IE8 (or IE7.) Try uninstalling mPower tools. If the issue goes away, reinstall it. A reinstall may help, or, again, it may not be compatible with IE7 or IE8.
