I've read the posts on this site and think there is quality advice. I am annoyed with my obgyn for two reasons. 1) I had a baby at the beginning of April and he ordered a pap smear on me in July. Obviously you wont benefit much from calling just to ask why he did it but if a doctor is doing something you dont understand its not rude or out of line to just ask why. I had to get out. he gave me a pelvic exam when i wanted to know why i was on a antibiotic that he gave me. There isn't a reason for so many paps especially if you have no problems now or in the past. It should be done yearly, not monthly. Find someone that you are more comfortable with.
