A bunch of friends told us that some witch group in Bolivar, MO sacrifices animals in the road on the way to a camping spot we were heading to. I didn't believe them but then several months later we found a bunch of burnt up cat bodies on a bridge in the area and a bunch of skeletons in the woods. Some people I know went up there and watched them one time doing it from in the woods at ...

Holy Crap. took all of last night and this afternoon to read everything. The Beginning of the thread was really interesting/creepy/messed up, this should be stickied somewhere, I only came upon it in a search on jeepforum for something like 31'' bfg's hahaha. Ive been back in the woods a couple times, some woods behind my house and a railroad track--has the foundation of an old farmhouse ...

New find, not strictly 4x4 related, but two buddies and me were out Geocaching and there's one cache called "Hard Rock Cafe, Eh?" (GCTEFZ on geocaching.com) that we tried to find earlier this year. We came in from the top of the ridge just at dusk (a little 4wd) and my two buddies went over the side to find this. It's in a cave right along a lake. I stayed above because my knee won't let me ...

Theres an old air force base thats abandoned thats about 15 miles from where I live and it can get pretty freaky driving on the runways at night by yourself. One time I was driving down a runway thinking about what could be out there and a coyote ran out in front of me and scared the hell out of me. Its really erie at night there if your alone.

Inspired by the VWvortex forum on the same just wondering if anyone has any ghost or supernatural tales from a late night wheeling trip or something similar. I was out on a trail near here ( its now a $$$ neighborhood ) and we saw a truck ontop of the hill. This was a pretty rough trail at the time and as we got closer ( about 20 yds away ) it looked like and older truck from the late fortys ( Chevy actually ). Anyway it had just gotten dark...

I've hit a bunch of the Weird NJ spots. I used to live about 1/4 mile from the Paulinskill Viaduct now I live about 10 miles from there. At times I hate Jersey, but for the most part I love it too.
