I posted a thread on this a long time ago but could not resolve the problem so I let it go. Below is my recent response to another thread. Made me think I'll try again and see if anyone has a new idea.

I had this problem after installing risers and it took 2 different times
tweaking before I was satisfied. It is definitely possible. _________________ Naked Jugs Rock!!

Understandable..but when I get this sensation I can look down at the top tree and actually see that it is turned slightly to the right. The only thing that would cause that is a misaligned front end or wheel not tracking correctly. The front end alignment has been checked...it's good. No way for the wheel to get out of alignment, when you bolt it on it automaticcaly aligns. BTW....this...
by your statement..... "but when I get this sensation I can look down at the top tree and actually see that it is turned slightly to the right" ...do you mean you have your handlebars STRAIGHT and the triple tree appears to be turned to the right a bit?
how about when you're triple tree is STRAIGHT across...do the handlebars look uneven now??
if so, that's not your front end out of ...
^^^^^^
Handlebars and risers are in alignment with the tree. EVERYTHING is turned slightly to the right....while traveling in a straight line!
The forks are not twisted, thats been verified. The only thing left is one of the wheels is not straight and I don't see how that could happen. _________________ You never see a motorcycle parked in front of a psychiatrists office except for Taser...
I saw a guy on TV rebuilding an old Indian lace his wheels; and, the answer is, yes, spoke wheels can be out of true side-to-side as well as out of round.
Here's an interesting article about several aspects of spoked wheels:

I have had the same feelingand I may have posted this answer to your original question, I always thought my last 3 suzukis had the exact same problem, I had friends ride them, we took measurements of handlebars to ground etc, check wheels and nothing but the odd feeling persisted, until one day my buddy says I ride crooked!? Turns out I have a slightly bent pelvis that causes me to have a slight ...
^^^^ Samething here. I could swear that my handle bars were misaligned....let go of the handle bars and sure enough, the bike would track to the right. Had a buddy tell me I sit twisted to the left...just a tad. Fixed the problem, I think it's because of my wallet being in my right back pocket...dunno. _________________ "Life is hard! Had a Honda Rebel that "felt" like that. I loosened the forks up, with the wheel installed and tight, and turned them. They will turn ever so slightly. Every little bit adds up to alot when you are dealin with forks. Just make sure to tighten them up a little bit on each side till they get tight. Took a couplea times to get 'em right. Well it worked on the Rebel anyway. Worth a try on the Suzi. ...
One was the oil screen cover on the bottom of the engine. Tightening the bolts fixed that. The other was a leak from the rear valve rocker box cover, left side. I power washed the oil off the engine so I could see better where it was coming from. It hasn't leaked since. Works for me. _________________ You never see a motorcycle parked in front of a psychiatrists office except for Taser '03 Volusia w/90 drive
Could be your frame is tweaked. Which is not as unusual as you might think. The shop where I had my frame straightened has a mobile alignment rack that they take to the race tracks. for $20 or so they give you your frame alignment specs. when I had my frame straightened, they had quoted a higher price as they thought it was bent too far to bend without heating or re-welding. When they called me they told me it bent back no problem and the...
Is your rear wheel aligned? If it is off you will have the front wheel turned slightly and be going straight. My other question is: When did you stop taking your meds? Before this or after? _________________ 2007 V Star 1100 Silverado ~D's Qlink Legacy 250 automatic
There are two large round rubber pads under the tank on the frame that fall off easily when you take off the tank...did you lose one? That might account for iyt. _________________ -> Get Your Ride Bells Here <- -> Check out my blog! www.ednelson.us/blog <-
