I'm due to fly with these in November from Manchester via Abu Dhabi. The last time I came to Phuket it was part of a package holiday, and so the Thomson flight was nothing to write home about. Just wanted some reviews really from people who have used them before. I've read all the stuff on the website, and also on review sites. Concur with the Etihad recommendations and the Abu Dhabi comments. The only thing I don't like is splitting the flights into 2x7 hour segments. If I do long haul, I lkie to get it over with in either one hit, or have a short flight at the end e.g MAN - BKK via SIN.

Neko - If you search this forum you will find more reviews of Etihad... Many BM's have flown with them and recommend them. I used Etihad last year and was happy with their service. Cattle Class is as good as other airlines I have flown with. Food is ok and yes you do get free drinks. Entertainment is also decent with Video on Demand. Abu Dhabi airport is pretty small but I did think it was better than Doha Airport who Qatar use,.

I Flew With Them Once Via Dubai And Thought It Was Crap........delays Everywhere....2 Hrs Late Taking Off...disembarked In The Middle Of The Runway In Soaring Temps [maybe Becoz Of The Building Of The New Airport]..........crap Food And The Entertainment System Kept Rebooting......maybe I Was Unlucky.but For Me.....never Again !!!!!!!!!

i'm flying with them in november as well.this is my 3rd time with them and they are very good good inflight service,food and entertainment althought not quite as good as emirates is ok. abu dhabi airport is tiny,hardly anything there apart from duty free and a coffee shop.
