That would be a good deal If it went through.
I'm following the Ribbery affair at the moment . Bayern are adamant that he is not for sale but he is only contracted till 2011 so I think they'd be right to cash in. Let's hope Fergies war chest can accommodate it. Infact just read that Real are favorites to land him after a £70 bid.
I'd like to see Benzema at united, if Teves isn't snapped...
Birmingham, Burnley and Wigan.
Couldn't really hope for a better start
In regards to Ribery, The Grauniad today stated that United were adopting a new policy of not paying stupid money for players aged 26 or over , so that counts him out.
I have no clue who even won last season? I remember guessing liverpool on the 2008/2009 thread though, but that is cus I know they are underdogs but like to still call themselves part of the 'Top Four' when they always finish 4th. hehe
So anyway, I'll say Liverpool will win.

No. jeez man, it was just an acrostic joke. plus ive already said its chelseas
chelsea could stand to bring in a forward in the winter for cover like guy said. other then that their squad is pretty perfect for winning the league. i think they have just as good of a chance as anyone else in the cl too. besides inter they probably have the best bunch of center backs in the world, which is crucial for the long haul.
We, as predicted, did get a slight dicking in the end from Arsenal. but when you go 2-0 down from two own goals within half an hour, you know you aren't going to win. we also had a couple of early decent chances which may have changed the game had they gone in. Oh well, at least the hard game is out of the way, now we can look forward to chelsea away...

Fair play he's got a nice touch on him but even I could score against Fulham these days, they're wank. Even deaf bitches say hi to me, She tell a blind bitch and she say "I gotta see".
