Sooo.. fickle...
Open those glass encrusted eyes.. then expand that long dead organ that you would call 'your mind'... embrace the future m8 - everyone has a big hug for you there..

I AM a Luddite, and proud of it. I also like modern, adventurous music, just not that kind. All that bollocks just reminds me of pre-schoolers cutting up Old Masters to make a collage and getting a gold star on their exercise book. Perhaps one day they might show the diligence and self-sacrifice required to play a proper instrument.
At what point did "songs" turn into "mixes" exactly?

Around about.. 1990 imo - although some may claim it was earlier.. tunes began to be 'designed' with mixing in mind. Is that a bad thing in the land of Bo then?

Think you're about a decade late there. Think back to Martin Rushent and Trevor Horn's early 80's productions. Lot ...
Cant get on to the website as at work. Might upload one of my recent house mix's though.
Oh yeah Choccy O'brian, im entering a DJing competition, could give it a blast yourself if you felt like it.

After all that, I have to say that the instrument you play is of minimal importance, it's how you play it that matters. Pete Shelley played "Ever fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't Have" on a guitar from Woolworth's. OK, it's not Beethoven, but that song will last forever.
