Tonya's post of the vacuum cleaner reminded me to ask you ladies if you can recommend me a steam mop. We are moving to a new apartment and I intend to choose one with tiles or hardwood floors - I hate our carpet. So I really wish to have a nice mop for cleaning and ''Sweeper'' is not on my list :)

I need to start my Christmas shopping.  I have an idea for my ODS but need ideas for Felicia.  I honestly haven't looked at toys.  I was thinking maybe a kitchen.  I was trying to remember when my ODS started playing with Fisher-Price Little People.  Anyone started thinking towards Christmas?  Thanks,

Hi everyone,  I've been having some trouble getting pregnant again after my first.  It's been 5 months.  Has anyone had the same type of problem and can anyone give me any advice?  I have an appointment with my doctor this month, but I'm unsure what testing to ask for?

My lo is starting to learn about body parts.. He can point to his eye and nose and say the correct name for it...  So cute!! What body parts has your Marchie learned?

bmkross replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
He knows eye, mouth, nose, bum, and his belly button. It is so cute! And if you ask where your eye is, he jams his finger right into your eye, its great!!

Michelle, My lo jams his finger into his own eye!  It cracks me up!! I love this age...  Seeing them learn is so cool!

My DH thinks it's okay to probably give Felicia 1/4 of my ODS knock-off Flinstones vitamin.  We read the instructions and it does say 1/2 a vitamin for 2 - 3 year olds.  Felicia can definitely crunch the vitamin.  What are you giving your LO?  I don't remember what we did for my ODS at this age.  I think we might have given him a nasty smelling liquid vitamin that our ped. prescribed. ...

I like to give the diaper to DD and ask her to give it to Daddy!!  She always does.  It's pretty funny.

I personally would approach it from the standpoint of "wow, so much has changed just in the last couple years--I am so amazed at all the changes in car seat recommendations!? Did you know that the biggest cause of injuries and death in car accidents is not this whole RF versus FF issue, even though that is really serious, but in fact it is actually that approximately 80% of car seats in America are used incorrectly?? I just read that one...

First of all, I can't financially afford to go out drinking and partying.? Secondly, it's never been a priority to me.? The most we ever stay out is like new years eve and we are at our friend's house and can put our son to bed in the pack n play until we go home.? I would just rather be with my family.? Besides, I don't have any friends who ever stay out late because they all have kids too.? We will be at my sister's...

Look at that.? We are loosing Kristin for a few weeks and now we got you back. WOW what a horrible string of luck.? Whoever said they only come in groups of three, was WRONG!!!? I think the saying, "when it rains, it pours," fits your situation perfectly. Glad you are able to get some sanity back.? I think I would have lost my mind.

We share a nanny with a neighbor, so our two kids at least get to play together. But, they also get together with the other nanny's in the neighborhood at least 2-3x/week, so there are other kid interactions there. But, in addition to outside play (no TV allowed), they also play music and sing and dance when inside, and we have a season pass to the local Childrens' Discovery museum so they go there a lot. (They have a pass for...

I like Skylar as well, hmm maybe a family middle name? Like yours or a grandmothers? Or since you picked a unisex first name maybe a very girly middle name? Skylar Rose or something of that nature? Good luck and congratulations!
