Also! That would be very helpful!
Now that I've thought about it, it does kinda make sense. There's no ...
Well, for those not already dragonmarked there is a blurb in the City of Stormreach about the Sanguineous Tome - reading it is supposed to make you truly aware of your bloodline, and it often spawns the formation of Siberys marks (basically the GM can use it as a big shiny excuse to explain someone suddenly taking the Heir of Siberys PrC). It would be funny if Pater Devir's worst fears were ...

Sorry to disappoint, but Dax would never manifest a Siberys ...
Oh right, colors... hmmm... Purple shall be the color for Relian.
On a side note, if he ever found out about Dax's Orien heritage after they had formed a friendship, he would probably call it Orien stupidity and take great pains to help Dax avoid any Orien scrutiny.
I can see Relian wandering the bookstacks, running his fingers along book spines and pulling out ones that seem to ...

Okay, no problem. Your world, your rules... I was just speculating.

If I remember correctly, races of eberron says that changelings can never develop a dragonmark...
Also snark, thanks for pointing out that little bit of info. I thought D' ...

Under ordinary circumstances, sure. They can't, in any shape or form, develop true dragonmarks.

Also, just a question. How would you feel...
@The Snark: Regarding your crazy dream sequences, I'm going to be playing it this way.
You can always spend extra time deciphering your dreams or other people's for the mechanical benefits of the Dreamtelling feat.
In addition, sometimes, I will give your character wild visions as plot hooks, which you can try to decipher, or leave as dangling threads.
I was going to make a comment...
Alright, after careful consideration, I like the rebellious ambassador's daughter adopted into Thuranni (possibly quite a coup by them!). So, yeah, go dragonmarked houses. After all, such things could be fun, whether she'll buck her father's demands and go off being a "modern" girl or she'll listen to him and heed the call of tradition. Also, go team cloak and dagger!

Re: Eberron -- Buried Secrets OOC I'll be the first to admit Aki and Maura have...tension; it's palpable through the body of a ship . Whether that means there's hot bird-person romance involved, I'll leave up to you. __________________ -574N

Re: Eberron -- Buried Secrets OOC Hmm... I might be overextending Darrshan's abilities with the clarity of meaning of the snarl... That probably should require the Wild empathy ability, which is only available to Druids and rangers for some reason... I seem to have a habit of taking too much for granted about my characters that straddle the border between the Dungeons & Dragons and Furry fandoms... Such as sub-lingual...
Re: Eberron -- Buried Secrets OOC Hey, don't forget that Darshann can snarl and thought project at the same time so people know exactly what the snarl means. I'm sure he can use similar talents to discern the exact nature of the tension between Aki and Maura too! J/K Scow2. :) __________________ Show me a hero, and I'll write you a tragedy. - F.
