Thread: Ebay Strut tower bars (front and rear)

Is it worth it (based on price for performance)? They are $30. Or should you just wait and buy the Neuspeed one? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered! document.write(' ');

^ word. your sitting on the drivers side. so the driver side sagged. get a fat passenger to even it out. .

This might sound stupid, but its true, u need to put something heavy in ur trunk and drive around for a couple days, so the new springs get broken in u know.. What i did to my first car... It worked..

Zzyzx replied 3 months, 1 week ago
given that each corner is holding a different amount of weight and a spring will compress proportional to the load (weight) applied to it... the only way you are ever going to get an even ride height all the way around is to either have springs of different strengths at each corner, or springs of different lengths. My suggestion, Learn to ignore it.

Tokico hp or kyb gr 2.

gearbox replied 3 months, 1 week ago
i would not go more than 1 inch drop esp in canada. even then the ride quality get much firmer than stock.

rednwhite04 replied 3 months, 1 week ago
shit, what the hell is in the trunk. The back already looks dropped!

slapoutz replied 3 months, 1 week ago
looks nice to me like that and u can still get over speed bumps xD

gearbox replied 3 months, 1 week ago
it wont be bouncy if you get upgraded aftermarket shocks. with oem shocks it will be very bouncy.

gearbox replied 3 months, 1 week ago
yeah if you get full coilovers it replaces the spring and shock. but cheaper coilovers will still suck.

my tokico blues were ALOT stiffer than oem, my ride is so firm its crazy. and i drive over hellish roads where the car is non stop moving up and down. i even completely loaded up the car with hundreds of pounds to the point where the tires were tucked for 2000 miles as i drove home. after that and almost 3 yrs later, the shocks are still in perfect working condition and the ride height is even front to back same as when they were installed. i...

I would change the stock shocks to something aftermarket. What is a good shock for a car on a set of lowering springs? I checked at my local auto parts store and the pricing they gave my was pretty high. It was like $190 per side on the front and like $100 on the rear just for stock shocks and he said more if i lower the car. I will loose the bosch plugs never knew they sucked in imports.

I will say I love tokico shocks/struts the blues are great as long as the drop is not low enough I think you can run s-techs on it but I can't remember the drop on those. the Tokico d-specs have adjustable dampening a little more priceyier and can handle a lower drop like 1.8 in the front and 2.0 rear possibly 2.0 in the front not sure though can't remember. but mind you with the adjustablity a half turn on a d-spec can literally be...
