Thread: Easiest way to build a website with no experience

Hi, I am looking for the easiest way to build a website (outside of hiring someone) that requires no tech ability. Are there templates to use or is Wordpress still the best? THank you! Tiffani

Wordpress is the way if you have no HTML skills. If you need it installed or configured you can check my signature.

Wordpress is a very easy way to set up a website with little to no technical know-how. There's an incredible community there for it too so if you're stuck with anything it's quite likely that there's been someone else there before you who can help you to solve the issue. to be honest wordpress and some of the free plugin would do.. The plugin do all the tweaking you need... no programming is needed in truth.. all in one seo plugin etc...

Hi Avamarie, You might anna try wix.com. I discovered it while looking for the easiest way to create a blog or a website when I was a beginner though. But of course, wordpress is still the best, 2nd to joomla. They have lots of free themes to download. Enjoy learning! Regards, K pregnancykeys.com

You can buy ready templates for your website, and then you have to upload them at your hosting. But they may not work. Be careful.

Weebly is an easy option if you don't know html. I'm using it for an affiliate website at the moment and just finished adding adsense. Super easy! Good Luck!

Download a free 30 day trial of Dreamweaver CS4 at adobe.com Also Lynda.com has terrific tutorials on how to use Dreamweaver templates to build a quick and easy website.
