When I try to download the latest update to Adobe Reader I get the following error message:  ERROR 1402 Could Not Open Key     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version\Run\OptionalComponents\MSFS I looked for this error on the Adobe Reader site and they said to uninstall the current version of Adobe Reader on my computer using the install/uninstall command via Control ...

sandib5532,     Try to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility  and see if that is able to remove your current version.  You can also check Adobe's removal instructions .

sandib5532,     Try to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility  and see if that is able to remove your current version.  You can also check Adobe's removal instructions .
