this is just light what would come factory in a 06 gti, correct?

jon@ecstuning.com replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
The Package 2 cars would have had these installed from the factory, many of the base model Rabbit and Jetta only had a single disc CD player installed. These are a really nice upgrade from the single disc systems.

thats what i thought thanks for clearing that up for me

jon@ecstuning.com replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Sure thing, like I say, this is a nice upgrade for the cars that had the single CD changer. This version is SAT radio compatible, but a harness, module and antenna are required.

Am i the only one who likes single disk system? too much of a hassle in case it breaks and i only listen to 1 cd at a time with a cd case on hand >_<

iGen3 replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Hmm. I should buy one for spare parts.

Sounds better than an MP3 and I don't like to fiddle with changing CD's while driving.

Hi Jon, are all of the units that are (were) on sale the Delphi ones? or some were Panasonic?

Ok Thank you... I just bought theOEM Sirius tuner so once I get everything thing in my hands I will give them a call. I already have a Sirius antenna wired up because of my after market unit so hopefully I can still use that.
