Thread: E85 stations near SLC and Miller Motorsports Park

Started 1 month, 4 weeks ago by CourageOO7
Guys, is anyone familiar with a more up-to-date list of the E85 stations in the Salt Lake area than what E85refueling.com has. I know Salt Lake has stations but locating them is not very easy. http://www.e85refueling.com/locations.php?...6e27c 1533a9563e Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help!

i saw one of those 5 the other day--the one up in clearfield. i did a quick fruitless search 267 West 12300 South has a chevron according to here: http://www.cccarto.com/altfuel/slc_altfuel/ and it stopped selling e85 according to here: http://e85vehicles.com/e85-utah.htm apparently it could get you a special plate and let you ride in the HOV lane, or at least that was the talk years ago:...

Yeah, the infrastructure just isn't there here in UT. Dang it. Thanks anyway.

Most guys I talk with purchase 55 gallon drums at a time. Is this not a possibility?

Gimme a bit... I'll ask the guys that know I know there's a few stations, and there will be one more in central Salt Lake by next year. Lemme just check with the Evo crew. I'll ask about drums too.

Thanks man! I think it'll probably be easier and cheaper (assuming someone like VP doesn't gouge me) to buy a drum or two.

Here's what I've gotten so far, one guy is trying to remember good drum places: There is an E-85 station off I-15 just off the clearfield exit. Make a right, and it is the chevron. There are two E-85 stations in the Provo/Orem area. And apparently there was one in Draper but it stopped doing E-85 and there are a few "not exactly public" E-98 places.

Yes, it seems the Clearfield Chevron keeps coming up. Are you saying they sell drums or will simply allow me to fill my own drum? Thanks for the help!
