Hey there, I have a 318 E21 which i recently finished swapping the M30 Turbo into that car. I have full Bilstein suspension. LSD out of a E12 535i fitted back there. My LSD started to make problems, The E21 stock LSD cant handle the power im pushing on the rear wheels. In my area almost everyone pushing some hp makes an E30 325 rear end swap with its rear LSD and cross member. It fits great.. ...
wait, it doesn't matter....
the car runs!!!
Bloody fuel lines were around the wrong way. _________________ Realise your most cherished desires by defending them from your casual wishes!

Fantastic Varden!
Brilliant work. You must be chuffed.
I don't suppose you could show us a pic of the fuel line hookup...could be quite valuable when i finally get my fuel pump and the wiring fixed.
Well done mate. _________________ -------------------------------------------------- -------

I did mention it, its a very easy mistake to make, its happened to me.. piping the otherway round wont have any pressure to start..
Well done thou you finally craked it..... now only one thing to do and which the e21 was simply made for (323i) is to thrash the f--k out of it i.e floooor it!!!

I run mine at about the same unless it's raining - and I can be arsed! - then I run softest all round. I think, for the money, it's a pretty good set-up.
if you could get the early eta pistons like what i have in my block you get a 11.1 comp ratio and you feel it aswell - fuck i do anyway, if you cant find the early eta and you wont, if you do ill cut my bollox off cos they are as rare as green blood. get hold of the early 325 chrome bumper pistons cos there flat tops, high comp.. failing that then custom or late caved pistons.. i built and used a 1988 325 caved pistons which gave a good top...

Hi Zul-Azrin If you have zero mechanical experience, I think you should start by doing your own oil change to learn, but have somebody take care of the engine rebuild. You are going to buy expensive parts, just to trash them because you don't know what to do with them. Rebuilding an engine has little to do with slapping parts together. Seeing that you don't even want to spend the money on buying a Haynes manual, I wonder how...

dunno if its any indication of how to build a 2.7?..... i sold the rods out of my old 320/6 engine for over £30 on ebay! but personally id miss out on the 2.7 and go straight to the turbo on the 325i engine. just 0.5 psi would see 200bhp....
That's true. I have learnt a huge amount in the process. Oh.. I should single out Varden for thanks too, forgot about the A/C belt help he gave, sorry mate.. it was so long ago now
