Thread: Dust and particulate mask question.

Yesterday my father was diagnosed with bronchiestasis- inflammation of the bronchi of the lungs- as well as a low-grade pulmonary infection. His doctor recommended a steroid inhaler for the inflammation, but also cautioned that he really needs to treat his lungs right for a while. Therein lies a problem. He smoked for 45 years (has gone down to maybe 1 smoke a month), and I doubt he's ever ...

Here's another positive pressure doodad that would actually provide cool air blowing across the face; only good for dusts, not fumes. http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?familyid=4873 Scratch that....looks like it's on closeout.....

*looks at prices* Is there anything a touch more reasonable? He's notoriously cheap. I've tried to sell him on the vented 3M masks I wear- N95, fairly cool- but something a bit better would be nice.

Just my experience, either hot, or expensive. A lot of the time, both.

*looks at prices* Is there anything a touch more reasonable? He's notoriously cheap. I've tried to sell him on the vented 3M masks I wear- N95, fairly cool- but something a bit better would be nice.
