True, you do today see new programs such as DARE and MADD. But then again there's always going to be those sore thumbs in the crowd that let things go from one ear out the other.

Fair enough, just curious. You structure a fair argument against drugs, but if done through recreational use and people are aware of the risks then I see little problem.

You can't supply a demand thats not there. They are simply buisness men, get off your high horse. And its evident you don't like hippes as you you talk about them coming back in a negative light.

It's something rather.. conclusive and evident here. We're pretty much gonna agree that youngsters should behave themselves and not fall onto the traps of life. In several aspects concerning drugs, sex and violence, things have improved and others have deteriorated(well that depends on your mindset concerning those things). Young teens are oblivious to the real world so it's a vicious circle which will keep these things happening.

Oh. There was violence in the 70's/80's alright, there was also sex, drugs, and drinking. The only thing different there is today is that there is more rape and abuse and all that sick pedophile stuff. No matter what era we will always have something to complain about when it comes to all of this. Face it it isn't going to stop completely, as I said the world is not that bad.

I think there should be something done about these things. It should not be a case of "it's been happening for X amount of years, deal with it". That's a ridiculous mentality. If we can try to make things better and hopefully succeed then it's well worth it. It'll always be there, no doubt, but we should focus on reducing it as much as we can.
