Thread: Dropped off my XD compact 9 for Duracoat today

i use it for both. cc and open carry. it works okay but i found another one i think works better. its a blackhawk paddle leather holster. i think it keeps the gun closer to your body then the belt holsters. __________________ Stay safe, stay second amendment! - GTA

He didn't even remove the sights for a refinish!?? Yep, most every duracoat job rubs and chips off. They had a finish called (some word starting with B I think). Melonite is a metal TREATMENT and is VERY durable. The stuff before that was prone to rust if you got at all sloppy in your upkeep.
