I'm not really into convertibles, unless it's a hard top convertible, but
that doesn't look that bad (compared to the booger green convertible Chally
that I saw pics of last year).

Don't get me wrong, I love a drop-top cruise along the coast as much as anyone.
These cars don't look good with the center support 'hoop' and the door posts poking up towards the sky.
I'm sure that if you throw enough $$$ at it, it could be done VERY nicely.
It's just simply NOT going to be done on mine.

personally I think converting a unibody to a drop top is like replacing the battery in your flashlight with a solar panel... sure you can do it but why? It makes no sense. Buy a convertible, a conversion will always look like a conversion. Especially nowadays when factory drop tops are so tricked out. At least do a folding hardtop or something and get rid of the pillars between windows.
