Thread: Done the video card...Now for the CPU

well now that ive successfully overclocked my video card to 370/675, i think i should try my luck at the CPU. now my BIOS doesnt support overclocking, so im going to need your help to find some software that will get me even the slightest kick out of my processor. for reference, my motherboard model is E661FXM, and my processor is a P4 524 3.06 Ghz. while im at it, is there anything that might ...

OCing software only works with the features that your BIOS support. You're probably completely out of luck. OCing ram is directly tied into OCing the bus speed and changing fsb:ram ratios.

suppose the BIOS might support it, but its just locked. i doubt it because ive tried some unlocking suggestions, but there still might be some hope. i was afraid of this answer. however, i dont see the harm in trying anyway. ive got nothing to do, so this ought to distract me.

Well I remember using easy tune but I'm pretty sure they don't have a download for it as I have never seen it available
