Thread: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire, MK XVIII - At the Mountains of Madness

Started 1 month, 4 weeks ago by Johnny Blade
Why We Snark - Collective Responses of a Thread of Snarkers Spoiler Since every few weeks somebody comes around and asks us why, if we apparently hate the Dominic Deegan comic so much, we still keep reading it instead of deleting it from our bookmarks. This post shall serve as a collection of all our stances on the comic and why we keep reading it ...

K-Q Spoiler Name : Kaisuteknon Started Reading : Right from the beginning. Joining GiTP Thread: I've been a lurker here for a few months before deciding to join in Starting Disposition : When I started reading this comic I actually enjoyed it. It definitely wasn't the best thing I've ever read, but it was still delightfully campy and even ...

So, um, I looked at the first post. Has Maltak really been going on since thread 9, because, um, WTF, Mookie?

I'm juuust a bit confused. In this comic, Dominic says "Have you ever tried to change a cat's mind?" and Hansi accepts it. But isn't that exactly what Dominic and Hansi did last comic? They made him go to the top even though he didn't want to? (see panel 8, last comic). Any of you have a good explanation for this? =Uncool-

Listen, there is no continuity in Mookieverse. Each strip takes place in a consecutive parallel universe, different in a few key respects. Everyone knows that.

Wow. Mohawk sure is easy to sway. And I love Mookies "Yeah, I know I showed the archers pointing up yesterday, but I don't care. Changing things in the last second to fit my fancies has always worked for me in the past, anyway. ". It goes to show you that the man will not stop doing as he pleases simply because of some small thing like "continuity".
