Thread: Dollhouse - Joss Whedon's new show

I'm looking forward to it. Sounds interesting. I was never really into Whedon, but I liked his run on Astonishing X-Men.

It doesn't look like the typical Whedon show (dramatic sci-fi/fantasy, but lots of comedy) as it seems much more straight-edged than his previous projects, but I'm just hoping the writing will be as strong as his other projects. If that's the case, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

im pretty excited for this because i like whedon, loved buffy! but i think people arent as excited because its going to be on fridays and its pretty much looking like it will just be canceled early so why even bother tuning in? i hope it does well though for sure!

It doesn't seem as campy as other his other shows, but I'm sure there will be some comedy. I'm looking forward to this. I'm not sure I want to get attached though, since it's going to get canceled (FOX + friday timeslot = canceled).
