It's funny, I was actually going to start this thread yesterday but I thought, "Nah, it's too early. I'll wait a while."
I'm a pretty big Whedon fan, as I love Angel, Firefly, and the recent Dr. Horrible web-blogs. I'll definitely be tuning in for the premiere.

haha, I was...
It doesn't look like the typical Whedon show (dramatic sci-fi/fantasy, but lots of comedy) as it seems much more straight-edged than his previous projects, but I'm just hoping the writing will be as strong as his other projects. If that's the case, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
im pretty excited for this because i like whedon, loved buffy! but i think people arent as excited because its going to be on fridays and its pretty much looking like it will just be canceled early so why even bother tuning in? i hope it does well though for sure!

Not in terms of plot, no. But the construction of the shows are very similar: no really big series plotlines, lots of comedy, strong female ...
It doesn't seem as campy as other his other shows, but I'm sure there will be some comedy.
I'm looking forward to this. I'm not sure I want to get attached though, since it's going to get canceled (FOX + friday timeslot = canceled).
I think it only got a 2nd season coz they didn't want the backlash they got then they cannceled Firefly again. Dollhouse just never had what Firefly did though.
I don't think any of us really are. It seems like it's been on the break of cancellation for the entire series and with this month long hiatus it kind of felt like it was going to be done for good. Now that leaves only one show that I watch on Friday night (The Soup).
Ballard storyline was interesting, and I thought they hit on another great sci-fi story line with Echo's engagement, and I loved the fact that it was Topher's idea. Small problem with the new episode: How could Alpha had stolen the new identity and known Ballard would come find him when he did?
@ FoxBroadcasting Why the hell are you cancelling... @ FoxBroadcasting Why the hell are you cancelling Dollhouse?! Joss Whedon is a genius! You guys don't know when you have a good show!
