Thread: Doing pullups, suddenly felt weaker one day, still feel weaker after a week off.

About three months ago, I started doing pullups. My program was essentially at least twenty pullups, five times a day. For a while, it worked fine. Got to the point where I couldn't even lift myself from the ground to the point where I could lift my chin above the bars at least four times per workout. (But I still can't do more than two in a row without my feet touching the ground.) However,...

My elbows hurt a lot when I started doing weighted pullups, you need to give your tendons and joints time to adjust. Take a break, then come back.
