Thread: Does this monitor

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=1425&subc at= Does this monitor have a source button ? So i could plug my 360 and pc into it and just swap them over via button ? Or would something else be better with a similar price ?

I have one almost Identical, the S2209W and it does have a source button, so chances are this one does too. I use mine for the same, PC and 360, 360 running on VGA and PC on DVI, just press the button to switch between them. Easy

Yes the SP2309W does have a source button. it also allows 1:1 pixel mapping if you want to run it at 1920x1080. you may want to check out something a bit more multimedia orientated like the LG M227wd or M227wdp as they have a more standard native resolution than the Dell and optical out if you plan to connect to an AV amp. Hmm those LG's look pretty good too. Would I get black bars top and bottom from playing my xbox ? the screen is really more of an upgrade for my pc. but wil be using a 360 on it from time to time. there is also this http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduc...odid=MO-039 -OK as a cheap alternitive. the cheaper I spend the better ofcoarse but I don't really have a budget, I do however have a 42" ...

If you turn off 1:1 Pixel mapping it will fill the screen, with it on you will get a black border. There are three options Fill, Aspect and 1:1. If you leave it on Fill all will be fine.
