I have watched Fox this last week and always find it disgustingly conservative, and last night I was watching MSNBC and found it totally liberal and I found that kind of reporting sick also. If there is a ’liberal conspiracy" and agenda, then you can be sure there is a "conservative conspiracy" and agenda.

An analysis of the american media from the otherside of the atlantic:

The recent downsizing of reporting staffs on major newspapers and network tv for the all mighty dollar.. where are those documentaries of the hour duration on food safety or chemical weapons or nuclear safety..ya dont see them anymore because the bord room controls the news room..dont rock the boat of the folks with the fat wallets! so says the bossman!

Well, if you live in a post-industrial, developed democratic nation such as ours, then you can easily access media fits your own political, socially, sexually, religious, or cultural creed, tastes and preferences. So yeah, you can find liberal newspapers, publications, films, tv shows and the like. Same thing with conservatives, libertarians, socialists, communists, etc. The MAJOR media outlets (monopolies?) tend to be somewhere in the middle....

In some ways the mainstream media only appears to be liberal giving the impression that all points of view are accounted for when they’re not. The corporate owned media goes to great lengths to cover issues that do not hurt their profit margins while other more scathing reports go largely untouched. Yes more in depth reporting is more expensive but there is also an agenda. 95% of our mainstream media is owned by just six major corporations...
