Its because of the pregnancy.  Pregnancy has a big effect on soft tissues, like your gums, and makes them pretty over sensitive.  It resolves itself but make sure you are brushing and flossing to help it a little.

Pregnancy can do that - mine always get worse during pregnancy. But you should still make sure you are seeing your dentist for regular checkups because pregnancy gingivitis (which is what causes the bleeding) can get bad enough to bring on periodontal disease, which is a real pain in the neck (I have it). So make sure your dentist is keeping an eye on it.

Bleeding gums are a common problem for pregnant women. Esp. if you haven't maintained regular cleanings pre pregnancy. I have HORRIBLE problems with my gums while pregnant. Floss everyday and use a softer toothbrush. Listerine also really helps. If you think it is too severe, I would visit your dentist for a checkup. Good luck!
