Thread: Does anyone do Cystistat?

Started 2 months, 3 weeks ago by JKS
Hi I was diagnosed with IC about 6 years ago and have been reading about Cystistat. Does anyone out there get the installations? Did they help? Anyone know where it they are at in the process of getting it approved in the US without having to order in from Canada? The only clinical trial information I found was at least 5 yrs old.

It sounds like Uracyst may be just as good or even ...

I am frustated too with the delays in medicine getting FDA approval but then I remember the issues with the anti-nausea medication given for morining sickness when all those babies were born without arms. US was one of the only country that did not approved the medication. I did look up Uracyst and found a few studies. It looks promising. The site was www....

JKS, Yes, I participated in the Uracyst trial so I am a little biased too. Anyway, both of these are not drugs but have been taken for years in supplements. Chondritin and glucosamine are used together over the counter for joint pain now (and it helps a great deal). I don't mind long term studies on real drugs that may cause damage to the body. I think this one as it is used is over the ...
