Surprisingly, yes. The Korean is spelled correctly as well. It's more of spelling out the sounds of "Lakers" than actually having a word for it. Mimicking the sound of the word "Lakers" using Korean characters.

Artest is an amazing marketer. He knows tonight's game will be seen by millions in China/Korea. Some folks will be pleasantly surprised to see how he embraces different cultures.

Still waiting for him to put "Kobe" in Japanese in his hair, especially since "Kobe" would work.

hmm...the third Chinese character means 'team' which is not necessary..."湖人" is cool enough, meaning "the people of the lake"
