Thread: Do you leave your workplace on the dot?

and i could have left the office at 4:30 pm but im still stuck in the office! Why? -- coz im still waiting for my friend to knock off!

Depends on the work type. Teachers can leave work early. I had a GP tutor who left the college at 1.30pm during my college times. Was with another colleague going to Bugis Junction cos I was waiting for bus at bus-stop and they were there too. And why are there teachers like that? Cos they are on regular monthly pay basis. And they won't lose their jobs cos they have no bosses to report to.

I'd really like too, but there's always no time!!! So i gotta stay a little late

Why can't we just inform our boss that we're leaving and just leave? Be it on the dot or after the dot. Or is it more appropriate to wait for them to tell you to leave? P.s: Sorry because now it's the school holidays and I'm only sec 3 so I have a lot of doubts about this. I'm allowed to work in this bank at raffles place as an admin so I'd really like to know the way things work in a office? Gosh I'm worried...

Like for example, if you end work at 5.00pm, do you leave at 5.00 pm SHARP, not even a min more...??? There are some ppl who do that But I think if u come early and u leave on time, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I do, rush home to my son. Dinner, check homework, chores and put him to bed early for morning school.
