...because they do among the East Canadian teams. Sick and tired of hearing about our scoring on these boards. Leafs have the best top six in Eastern Canada and maybe even the division(Boston just lost their best goal scorer). Im sure with our new d-core, goalies and toughness to go along with a veteran coach and Stanley Cup GM, ...

I don't care about what they put up last year, even with Kessel that's the worst top 6 of the teams you mentioned, and I'm a Leafs fan. Matt Stajan and Alex Ponikarovsky aren't scaring anyone. The Leafs should be good for some entertaining hockey, but I don't think it'll translate to too many wins....

No they are not the worse 6 in the northeast but they are far from the best.

I litteraly face palmed myself. He does not speak for the rest of us. Just wanna get that out of the way.

Yes, because Kessel scored all those goals playing with Graboski at center. Leafs are the best. Plan the parade.

No, they don't have even close to the top 6 in the NorthEast, I would say they have the worst. Buffalo Boston Ottawa Montreal Toronto would be my rankings

I read the title and immediately thought "oh no". The leafs are not the worst but nowhere near as deep and skilled as a team like Boston. The "leafs wont be able to score" threads should hopefully be put to rest now, althought im sure they wont.

Our goalies will decide if we make the playoffs this season or not. We have the forwards to make it and we have the defence to make it. The playoffs for the Leafs depends on the goaltending. If Toskala can rebound and Gustavsson can prove his hype, we will make the playoffs. If they...

The leafs let 3 potential stars go for 1 guy coming off his best season , and only great season playing for the best team in the league with the best goalie and dman and arguable the best center in the league during the regular season. It just gets worse for the 2nd round. So the leafs' chances of landing prospects in the next couple of...

I don't have the stats on how many back-ups the Leafs or the rest of the division faced. Do you? I remember it being something like every 2 or 3 games they would face a backup or rookie goaltender.

Vanek-Roy-Pominville Hecht-Connolly-Stafford Yes I would. They have the best scorer in the division Roy and Connolly if healthy is the 2nd best center combo Pominville is awesome Hecht and Stafford are good also.
