Thread: Do I have to complete this transaction?

Buyer bought an item from me but did not pay within the 7 days so after 3 reminder emails thru ebay I filed an UPI. We were leaving on vacation for 12 days and I informed the buyer that in each of the reminder emails - that if they didn't pay by 10/29 that their item could not be mailed until after 11/9. I put my store and FP on vacation until today (11/9) as well. Of course the buyer paid the day after we left for vacation but never...

The did respond to the UPI though. They paid. That is the purpose of it. You can refund and cancel but I'm afraid that will guarantee you a negative. I would probably mail their item lickety split and hope for the best. I would also probably drop them a line letting them know I had been on vacation, and it was on the way. I'm sure you will get other opinions though. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.
