We had a Professional Development Day today and our principal and vice-principal provided us breakfast. I was across the table from one of our caretakers, who was cutting his bagel. I said, "Do you know how many people go to Emergency every year because of injuries they got from cutting a bagel that way?" Perfectly clear! And it makes perfect sense why cutting towards your palm would be the more dangerous option

EEEK- I hope you went to the school nurse!! A butterfly bandage might help hold that skin together until it heals... Next time, ask that they order the bagels pre-sliced (that's what we always do!!) Feel better!!

No school nurses here, czacza! Washed it out well, put on some disinfectant and will bandage it up again before heading out to school. Can't wait for the caretaker to come in and tell my grade 7 and 8s all about MrsC's breakfast on Monday!

No school nurses here, czacza! Washed it out well, put on some disinfectant and will bandage it up again before heading out to school. Can't wait for the caretaker to come in and tell my grade 7 and 8s all about MrsC's breakfast on Monday!
