See what Babylon 5 can do for you...
Love his short films, I was gutted when his Halo film was put on hiatus, imagine what this guy could do with the budget a Halo film would provide him.
Eagerly awaiting this one, it's the most original idea for a scifi film I've heard of in years.

Does that not seem like an abstract classification from a ratings board?
But being fair of course, I haven't seen the movie yet. Just that nothing I've heard would cause me to think of it as a spoof comedy.
Saw this at a film festival last night. Was underwhelmed, to be honest. For all the hype, it struggles to break the mold of the typical action blockbuster.

Just saw District 9 in the cinema last night. Its a South African film about a race of aliens kept in a ghetto by the authorities.Never seen anything like it-it will definetly assume cult status.Eight out of ten.Great effects, very clever, very allegorical re apartheid, very funny and very sad.Highly recommended.

I just deleted a few posts discussing illegal copis of this film. If I see anyone doing it again I will not hesitate to ban them. video piracy puts hard working Prawns out of business :

Funny to note that they had done the effects from Iron Man exiting...
Wow... I'm getting flashbacks to reading comments on Youtube from this. /offtopic Maybe I have a huge hard-on for interesting design but I loved the way the alien weapons, Spoiler: mech, command unit/ship , and the mothership looked.
