Thread: Did One Dark Night DVD get pushed back?

I just saw this tonight and enjoyed it, so I was reading about the DVD. Has anyone received the same film cell as someone else? I know there are different ones, but I was wondering if they're all unique.

I got the cell with the blonde girl in her ghost/monster mask costume standing the hall of the mortuary. By the way, how cute is Meg Tilly in this movie. She's just too damn precious .

Watched this for the first time today and was disappointed. I'm a big fan of Friday VI and had read a great review of this in the Horror Films of the 1980s book, so I was all ready for some Tom McLoughlin awesomeness. But instead I got a very sloooow movie with annoying characters and a story that really never makes sense. I checked out the commentary afterwards and it was interesting, but you...

In regards to the print quality,I read a long story about it.The company that produced the film went out of business and all of the negatives they held have been lost.There was an available TV print but it was cropped to 1:33.Other labels passed on releasing the film onto DVD because there was nothing available but this cropped print to go from.After an extensive search Shriek Show discovered one...
