Not only do they have much larger priorities, this is anti-freedom. Big government all around. This is, however, also a city that puts a bulk of police resources into the failed war on drugs. I have fewer and fewer reasons to even cross into Detroit. Perhaps scaling back massive regulation, and the pursuit of victimless crimes such as drug use would help the city.

Inaccurate. But the situations aren't on par anyway. Economic growth will turn around a city, not government regulation of products and businesses that people want. I understand we live in a country where we look to the government to protect us from ourselves, but it is wrong and completely unconstitutional. Also, it is wrong for governments to give special considerations for churches. No ...
