My palm Tungsten is on its last legs, but I love using the Palm Desktop software. So I haven't been syncing often. I'm changing computers, so tried to hotsync to backup the calendar and contacts. The computer didn't recognize the palm, so I saved the palm folder to a disk, then installed the newest palm desktop software as was recommended to get it to recognize the Tungsten. ...

Ok, here are the instructions for the "clean" uninstall for Vista. You should first make a copy of your data to have just in case something happens. You can find your data files by going to Start --> Documents --> Palm OS Desktop. Highlight your Palm Desktop username and right click and copy.
