Started 1 year, 2 months ago by mrjoe
I'm back again Anyways, anyone know how to update to 10.5.3 from kalyway 10.5.2? Yes I read your posts Rob and it's sort of a hassle going through that much trouble to install efi (LOL i'm lazy). Of course, there's always OSx86tools. But anyways I've already tried the ToH installer and it won't work for me. When I try update from Kalyway the whole OS crashes at 40% copied. No ...

@frantisheq. How did you succeed in making the rear microphone working? I used HDApatcher 1.16 + EFI to get the speakers work but now I try yo use the rear microphone line in and it fails.... Any idea. Hackintosh only sees the internal microphone which doesn't work. Thx

I tried JaS 10.5.4 Server/Client version that I downloaded and it installs good, but I get a no root device once it boots from the hard drive. Also I found a fix to have our dell 410's boot from Auto/Raid OR Raid On and this will do away with the no root device on booting from the Dvd. But I still get the error on many distros after the install is complete. I attached the file below...

QUOTE (Rob G @ Oct 23 2009, 06:51 AM) How was the 9800 under leopard. I've been looking at buying one for a little bit. I just got it after I got SL up and running. It appears to be working fine, but every now and then, the fan starts spinning very fast and the machine locks up and shuts down. I think I need an EFI string or a kext for it. Still looking for that. Also, I am having troubles with my keyboard. Sometimes...

I used a little 129mb thumb drive and installed Chameleon RC4 on it and just plugged it in the back of my computer. I then set BIOS to boot off USB. So everything is good. Able to fully boot into Leopard 10.5.8 and Snow Leopard 10.6.2 with no issues. Both boot up in roughly 30 seconds if that...... Check http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,854.0.html spamsink, I would love to try this, but the post says to run "nasm", which is not found on my system. They say it's been included in the repo now (which I am hoping to find a compiled nightly build) but I cannot find details on how to get it. Do you (or anyone else) have...
